In 1957, when her daughter Caroline was born, Princess Grace of Monaco asked Christian Dior to create some custom-made outfits for her. A request that perpetuated a well-established tradition: for generations, children from the wealthiest families have been dressed by the same great fashion houses as their parents.
Ten years later, in 1967, Baby Dior officially opened at 28 avenue Montaigne, a boutique decorated like a fairy tale. But then, what makes the Baby Dior style?
